End of a Road

A SMALL GOODBYE

I honestly thought Moonwarrior was getting to the next phase… not to an ending. As I mulled over the art, it felt like I was staring at a wall. Looking over my gallery, I’ve progressed a lot, and got closer to my artistic dream — but not quite. Titaneer once remarked that my gallery seems to be lacking in my own art lately, and that’s so true.

If I were to do my own things, it would be a lonely path, and that is scary. These past few weeks, I’ve been resigning myself that it is my path. Stories lost in obscurity, unsung heroes, fierce amazons, these are the kinds of things I want to share. I will take the risk and make a fresh start.

I will miss the wonderful people who visit here. I will miss the pageviews lol. You’ve pampered me, and I wish I could give more. I wanted to support as many FM and yuri fans as possible, but I can’t be true to myself that way. The next stage of the journey is to find myself. I don’t know what I’ll do with this website, so I’ll leave it as it is.

To my artist and writer friends, your creations have made the world that much more colourful, keep rockin’. To my fans, your comments have brought me many smiles, and whenever I was down, you’d help me back up. I’m tempted to do more commissions and gift art, but I’m realising that there are many ways to serve. I’ll continue to draw femuscle and yuri, so it’s likely that we’ll meet again.

….

HAVING SAID THAT,

I saw this. Kitsune has to get his college payments up to date or he wouldn’t be able to sit tests. He’s working 3 jobs as well as studying. I don’t know how much this will help, but I’ll offer a quick sketch to people who send him donations – I don’t care how much, even if it’s to help him buy more coffee to keep his eyes open.

I will keep this going for as long as I can manage.

Update: The donation drive is closed. Thanks to those who helped out. You can post them at your website if you wish.

And yes, it’s only a “small goodbye”. The journey continues, and our paths may cross again.

….

Take care, and thank you.

Mika
