Birthday pic for BlackKusanagi (it’s way past tho). My first time applying AyanamiFan’s “rock painting technique” to a non-rock object (although you can probably argue that those muscles are like rocks anyway). The technique was so named because I was trying to paint some rocks in iScribble but they turned out as weird-looking green & blue blobs; then AyaFan came and (what looked to me like) magically shaped them into rocks of exquisite details and colours. I watched him and asked him questions as he painted, and the tips from became what I call the “rock technique” x”D

A SMALL GOODBYE
I honestly thought Moonwarrior was getting to the next phase… not to an ending. As I mulled over the art, it felt like I was staring at a wall. Looking over my gallery, I’ve progressed a lot, and got closer to my artistic dream — but not quite. Titaneer once remarked that my gallery seems to be lacking in my own art lately, and that’s so true.
If I were to do my own things, it would be a lonely path, and that is scary. These past few weeks, I’ve been resigning myself that it is my path. Stories lost in obscurity, unsung heroes, fierce amazons, these are the kinds of things I want to share. I will take the risk and make a fresh start.
